Full List of Upcoming Games Announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

With just 2 weeks until the launch of the highly anticipated next-gen consoles, we want to cover all the information we can about the upcoming systems. We already have a buying guide for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 as well as a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Xbox Series S. Now it's time to take a deeper look at all the upcoming games announced for next-gen consoles.

Before we dive into the list, here are a few bits of information to help you better understand the next-gen game lineup. It's often the case that unless a game is developed by a first-party studio, it will be a timed exclusive on the console, meaning that it will release at a later date on the other console. For games that we know are in that boat, we will mark with (timed exclusive) next to the title. Secondly, it's pretty safe to assume that every game on the Xbox Series X|S list, not just the timed exclusives, will also appear on PC. And certain games on PS5, such as Demons Souls, are possibly in a similar situation though that isn't confirmed at the time of writing. Lastly, one of the key features of the next-gen consoles is that some optimized games can run at a smooth 120 frames per second. Games that have been confirmed to target that framerate will also be marked as such.
