Nintendo Direct Mini Overview | October 2020

Here it is, the final Nintendo Direct Mini of 2020. These partner showcases have been quite the hit in the past for Nintendo with their September event having announced two new Monster Hunter games for Switch just last month. This October showcase is no different. Here are all the games that were announced during the October Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase:

  • Bravely Default II | February 26, 2021
  • Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town | March 23, 2021
  • Surviving the Aftermath | Spring 2021
  • Immortals: Fenyx Rising | December 3, 2020
  • Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia | November 3, 2020
  • Griftlands | Summer 2021
  • Tropico 6 | November 6, 2020
  • Hitman III: Cloud Version | TBA
  • Control: Ultimate Edition: Cloud Version | Available Now
  • No More Heroes III | 2021
  • Part-Time UFO | Available Today
  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity | November 20, 2020

Perhaps the most impressive announcement here is Hitman 3 and Control: Ultimate Edition making their way to the Nintendo Switch via the Cloud with Control available for download on the eShop now. These are probably the biggest games to release on the Nintendo Switch that are outside the Nintendo first-party ecosystem.

While there is no exact release date on No More Heroes 3, interested players can now play as the "legendary assassin" early in No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, both available now on Nintendo Switch.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is just a few weeks away, but the demo is available today on the eShop and lets you play the entirety of Chapter 1 with the ability to transfer your demo save file to the final game on launch.
